Humanity and religion

Human of this age has a paradigm shift when it comes to the religion. They are not very much aggressive and the approach has become simpler when it comes to the question of religion.
There are people they may say they believe in religion and can give their reasons and logics but there may be people who may say that they are really happy without any religion.
Some of them may reply that they are humanitarians or “it’s better to be a human rather than following a religion”. Question comes to the mind that really is there any difference in Humanity and religion?
Let’s understand it through a quadrant:

In this quadrant I have tried to depict the concept with different prospective.
The first in quadrant talks about the people who are religious and humanitarian,
What is religion?
Religion is a concept where the presence of GOD or first intellectual cause is necessary who is responsible for the existence of everything and nothing at all, people are fascinated with the existence of GOD or first intellectual cause they practice rituals which becomes custom after certain point of time and is consistently followed by their heirs. There are rules, teachings, usages, customs, rituals and myths which become the sacred literature for the followers and they follow it like the words of GOD. Religion teaches about humanity, almost all the religion exists for the time being teaches the concept of humanity and urges to the followers to abide by the concept.
But what is humanity itself?
Humanity is a very different term which gives us the reason to be here, the service of the human being is the ultimate teachings of every religion. So we can say that this term is pervasive ant the underlying objective is beyond any religion.
If we look at the quadrant above we will find both concepts in the relative terms.
A person can be religious and humanitarian at the same time but another one cannot be so he may be religious but may not be a humanitarian, it all depends upon his upbringing and perception to the life. On the other hand one may not be non- religious but he may be humanitarian and taking the last segment of the Quadrant non-religious and non- humaniretion.  Whichever segment of this quadrant one follows it all depends on his upbringing, experiences, peer pressure, environment in which he lives and his own experiences in life and lastly his intellect.
So to my mind both terms are very much different but complementary to each other.
